SCOUT
(Student's Collaborative and Open learning about european Theatre & culture)
The core idea of the project is to develop the infrastructure, both mental & physical with which K-12 students will scout for knowledge using as a case study the subject of the theatre and European Culture. The project consortium aims to create an educational model for theatre studies in schools through a collaborative effort that includes: ensuring a planning process that consists af a needs assessment, goals, an action plan for building and maintaining a network of European Schools interested in adding theatre studies in their curriculum. Students as well as teachers together will sent out in the Cyberspace to communicate and collaborate with fellow European students and teachers in order to acquire knowledge about European Theatre and culture. That is way a specific infrastructure in the sense of a model for school co-operation as well as of a learning environment based on the Internet and the WWW will be created.
